LE FONTI

Le Fonti gets its name from the five water wells found on the property.

Since 1994, the winery has been in the hands of the Schmitt-Vitali family, where German organization meets Italian creativity.

The territory spans over 15 hectares (37 acres), of which 9 hectares (22 acres) are vineyards and the remainder olive groves. Le Fonti uses organic and sustainable practices to safeguard the integrity of the environment. Their philosophy is that great wine starts in the vineyard, which is why they take meticulous care of their vines.

Thanks to its small size, the winery is able to closely follow every stage of production, from the vine to the bottle. The result is an annual production of about 45,000 bottles. It includes the three quality levels of Chianti Classico and various IGT wines, as well as extra virgin olive oil, passito, and grappa.

All the labels shine with a fresh and unique character, with marked minerality, thanks to the morning breeze coming from the Greve valley.
