Vecchie terre di Montefili

In the heart of Chianti Classico, Vecchie Terre di Montefili sits on a hill over 500  meters above sea level, where the view embraces the “Conca d’Oro” and the wind  carries the purity of the Panzano air. It is a place where microclimate, light, and  altitude create a rare balance, capable of enhancing the essence of Sangiovese and  defining the style of its wines.

Montefili is born from a well-preserved tradition, but looks to the land with attentive  and contemporary eyes. Here, innovation is a quiet pursuit, based on observation  and precision in agricultural practices, respecting nature. Every choice, from manual  harvesting to small-batch vinification, reflects the character of the vineyard in each  parcel, and not a pre-established idea.

The production—from historic crus to iconic wines like Anfiteatro and Bruno di  Rocca—is naturally limited: only what the vineyard allows is produced. Teamwork  has a shared vision: protecting the purity of the terroir, giving voice to the  Sangiovese of the highlands, and creating wines that speak with discretion, depth,  and elegance.

Montefili is for those who recognise rarity in the essential and the value of  authenticity, vintage after vintage.
