Fattoria di Rignana

Rignana is a small hamlet located in the westernmost part of the Panzano area.
Since 1965, it has been owned by the Gericke family, now in its third generation.
The estate covers 120 hectares, 14 of which are planted with vineyards. Since 2014, we have been practicing organic farming. We have selected an estate-grown Canaiolo, bottled both as a single-varietal wine and as a significant component of our Chianti Classico. Additionally, we are now on the fourth vintage of our Gran Selezione, made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes sourced from our Cru vineyard “Le Villane.”

Since 2009, we have been bottling our Super Tuscan—originally made with Merlot, and later with Cabernet Franc.
Our wine range also includes the traditional Chianti Classico Riserva, as well as a Rosé and a White wine, both produced from an early harvest of Sangiovese grapes.
