LE FONTI

Le Fonti gets its name from the five water wells at the property, “fonti”. The estate is conducted by the Schmitt-Vitali family since 1994 and combines German organization with Italian creativity. Le Fonti is certificated organic and covers 15 hectares (37 acres) of land of which 9 hectares (22 acres) are vineyards, the remaining surface are olive groves. The production amounts to 40-45.000 bottles per year, divided between three types of Chianti Classico and four IGT wines.
