THE ESTATE

The relationship which Tommaso Cavalli binds to his territory, embeds the roots for an authentic passion which was consolidated for more than thirty years in the work dedicated, together with his father Roberto, to a project called Tenuta degli Dei. The property is owned by the family since the early 70ies and is located in San Leolino close to Panzano in Chianti.

The estate represents that what for the Tuscan family has been the reason for their dedication to the soil, the wine and the horses – universal symbols of Tuscan uniqueness.

A visit a Tenuta degli Dei implies an immersion in the Tuscan countryside, where history and nature are melting together and where one may breath the authentic passion for high quality wine and the beautiful things.

A journey of unique experiences to live moment after moment and to be always aware of.

THE PROGRAM

The visit takes about one hour.

The visits are held in English or Italian.

Only with appointment from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm (last arrival).

Visits of the wine cellar and the Barrique cellar.

THE WINE CELLAR

In this ambience, characterized by beamed ceilings and rafters on sight, typical for the country homes in the Chianti area, are located the vats where the fermentation of our wines takes place.

THE BARRIQUE CELLAR

Magnificent vaults at the roof of the cellar are guarding jealously the precious barrels of French oak in which the wine rests until it reaches the perfect maturation.

When the guests arrive at the estate, we dedicate ourselves to the tastings of the last three vintages of our three wines:

Cavalli Tenuta degli Dei, Le Redini e Forcole. Three expressions of our way how to be and how to interpretate the unique savors of our grapes.

A short stroll towards the estate in order to admire the vineyards and the splendid landscape.

Tasting of the three wines of the vintages currently for sale with the possibility of purchase after the visit.

Possibility to visit the horse stables.

THE STABLES

For concluding the visit, we offer the possibility to visit the stables. A very special place within our estate where we look after our horses with love.

La Tenuta degli Dei is located close to the antique Parish Church San Leolino in Panzano in Chianti, one of the most beautiful hamlets in the Tuscan countryside, easily to reach from Florence and from Siena.
